Our Services

Safety Consulting

BCS Consultants partner with clients to act as a technical resource to stay beyond compliance. We specialize in building effective Health, Safety & Environmental programs that fit our client’s needs in any specific work environment or industry. We can customize any health and safety program into a unique, user-friendly audit system from an iPad making paper a thing of the past while reducing downtime and producing more efficient and effectiveness real time results.

  • Comprehensive Compliance Audits: Our audits focus on hazards recognition, injury prevention, and OSHA compliance. We will evaluate against industry standards and identify compliance gaps while making recommendations with best practices in a full written report.

    Note: Our reports will reference the applicable OSHA standard and provide an estimated OSHA fine proposal so clients can relate the actual cost of non-compliance to their bottom line. Our clients can rest assured that we will not leave them there, and we will help through every step of the way while providing solutions to ensure they are beyond compliance.

  • Health, Safety & Environmental Program Development: We build fully customizable health, safety and environmental written programs applicable to our client’s specific work industry. We then can turn these programs into trainings in which our consultants can conduct at their facility. We strive to build beyond compliance training programs that will leave a lasting image on our client’s workforce. Some programs and trainings include: (ie. Fall Protection, Confined Space, Respiratory Protection, Lockout/Tagout, GHS, Behavioral Based, Crane and Rigging, SPCCC, SWPP). For more programs or specific needs inquire in our message section.  

  • Health, Safety & Environmental Program Evaluation: Our experienced consultants will perform an evaluation of our clients current Health, Safety and Environmental programs. We will request a submittal of the programs/other documents and review for clarity, content and compliance. Upon review we will conduct a scheduled or unscheduled visit to determine the effectiveness of the programs amongst the workforce, throughout the facility and work environment. Our visit may include employee interviews, inspection logs, training records and other record-keeping logs that may include our clients OSHA logs. Upon, our evaluation we will log our findings and deliver a report to our clients outlining any deficiencies.

    Note: The information gathered during regular site visits is uploaded to our client’s unique profile from our database tracking management tool. Upon request we can provide an analytical report (For best results 3 month’s worth of data) that track/trend data and key findings to our clients.

Training

BCS’s mission is provide safety training beyond compliance. We strive to push ourselves to be the best so that you can too. Our custom training videos show teammates the hazards associated with their workplace. The videos show, in detail, the proper procedures while working on, or with, machinery to keep their teammates safe. These videos are perfect for new employee orientation or annual training and focus on the hazards in the workplace. This allows your team members to easily identify, avoid, and correct those hazards, reducing the incidence of injuries.

  • Employee Interviews: This allows for a teammate to speak to their fellow team members about a near miss or injury that he sustained. How it happened, how it can be prevented in the future, and how it affected his life and the lives of those close to him. This can be used as an eye-opening experience to others to let them know that injuries can happen to anyone.

  • New Employee Orientation: These videos show the proper procedures for new employees while working on site. This training will review the PPE that they will be required to wear and the reasons why. It will also go over the hazards associated with their new workplace.

  • Visitor Videos: These videos show the proper procedures for visitors while they are visiting the site. This includes PPE, emergency contact information, and evacuation routes.

  • Contractor Safety Videos: These videos will show what is required of contractors while they are working on site. This includes site posted signs such as speed limit signs and railroad crossings. This training with review the PPE that they will be required to wear and the reasons why. It will also go over the hazards associated with their new workplace.

  • Job Task Videos: These are brief videos showing an employee performing a task. These are filmed in both first and third person. This gives them a “through the eyes of” feeling. These videos are meant to show new hires how to perform a task before they begin to job shadow a co-worker. 

  • Annual Training Videos: These are topics such as lockout tagout tryout, confined space safety, driving safety, heat stress, hand awareness and machine guarding, fire prevention, fall protection, and preventing strains and sprains in the workplace.

    Each of these videos are completely customizable and can include any information that you want, and can be as short or long as you want. We film at your location so that it’s your site, your machinery/tools/equipment and, most importantly, your people in the video.

Safety Staffing

Safety Support Professionals: We have the ability to staff safety professionals for temporary to long term projects throughout the United States. Our Safety Professionals within our network have the skills necessary to assist any of our clients’ needs.
